How FreeImage2Video handles accounts, uploads, generation history, payments, analytics, and service providers.

Overview

FreeImage2Video provides an online image-to-video generation service at freeimage2video.com. This policy explains what information we process, why we process it, and the choices available to you.

The guest trial includes one lifetime five-second, watermarked 480p generation. Creating an account grants 12 one-time credits that do not refresh or expire. Signed-in users can choose 480p, 720p, or 1080p output from 1 to 15 seconds, subject to their credit balance. Free-account output is watermarked; active Pro and Max output is not. Credit balances and product availability are shown in the service.

Information We Process

When you use the tool without an account

You may use one lifetime guest generation without signing in. We process the image you upload, the optional motion prompt, basic request information, and a one-way visitor hash derived from the request IP and a limited set of browser characteristics. We use these hashes to enforce the lifetime guest trial and hourly network protections without storing the raw browser-characteristic set in the quota table. Cloudflare Turnstile also processes request and device signals to verify that a generation was initiated by a person. Guest generations are not added to an account history.

When you sign in with Google

Google authentication provides your name, email address, profile image, and a provider account identifier. We use this information to create and secure your account. A new account receives 12 credits once; those signup credits do not refresh or expire. Signed-in users can view a private history containing task details such as the prompt, model, status, creation time, uploaded-image location, and generated-video location.

When you make a purchase

Stripe processes subscription and one-time top-up payments. Stripe may collect your payment method, billing address, tax information, and other details needed to complete the transaction. We receive transaction and customer identifiers, payment status, product, amount, currency, and related billing information needed to grant credits, manage subscriptions, prevent duplicate fulfillment, and support payment inquiries. We do not receive or store your full card number. Top-ups add credits to your balance; they do not change your subscription plan.

Analytics and technical information

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate product usage and events such as generation completion, downloads, quota limits, and interest in possible features. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand navigation, clicks, scrolling, and usability through aggregated heatmaps and session recordings. Uploaded image previews and motion prompts are explicitly masked from Clarity recordings. Google and Microsoft may process device, browser, approximate location, cookie, and interaction information according to their own policies. We also process security and diagnostic data needed to operate the website and investigate errors or abuse.

Image and Video Processing

Uploaded images and prompts are sent through our server to Kie.ai for temporary file handling and AI video generation. When a video completes, we process the result and attempt to store the finalized MP4 in Cloudflare R2 for playback, download, and signed-in history. Free output receives a server-side watermark; active Pro and Max output does not. Temporary provider and source files may expire or be removed independently. Keep a local copy of any result you need to retain.

Do not upload confidential material, personal data you are not authorized to use, or content that violates another person's rights. We do not claim that uploaded images remain only on your device, and we do not sell uploaded images or use them to train our own AI model. Kie.ai's handling of submitted content is governed by its own terms and privacy practices.

Service Providers

We use third parties to operate the service, including:

  • Kie.ai for temporary file handling and AI video generation;
  • Stripe for checkout, subscription, payment, tax, and billing processing;
  • Google for authentication and Google Analytics 4;
  • Microsoft for Clarity heatmaps and privacy-masked session recordings;
  • Cloudflare for Turnstile human verification, abuse prevention, and R2 object storage;
  • Neon for the PostgreSQL database used for accounts, credits, quotas, orders, subscriptions, and task history;
  • Vercel and related delivery infrastructure for hosting, serverless processing, security, and application logs.

These providers may process information in countries other than your own.

Retention and Security

The one-way quota marker used for the lifetime guest trial is retained so the trial does not reset. Account details, credit records, orders, subscriptions, signed-in task history, security records, and stored generated videos are retained as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and meet applicable obligations. Free-plan generated videos are normally stored for 90 days. An active paid subscription protects the subscriber's available video library, including videos created before upgrading; that protection continues for a 90-day grace period after the last paid period ends. Provider-hosted files may expire independently, and storage failures, legal requirements, or service availability may affect retention. We do not guarantee indefinite media retention, so keep local copies of important results.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. You can avoid named account history by using the guest workflow. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of account-related information, contact us from the email address associated with your account. Some records may need to be retained for security, payment, fraud-prevention, or legal reasons.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Authentication and site functionality may use cookies, local storage, or IndexedDB. If you choose to sign in after reaching the guest limit, a pending image and prompt may be held in IndexedDB so the generation can continue without another upload. It can be restored for up to 15 minutes; expired data is deleted when you next open the generator or attempt to resume the generation. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may use cookies or similar technologies. Browser controls can limit storage, but disabling essential storage may prevent sign-in or other features from working correctly.

Children's Privacy

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can review and remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product or its providers change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
